Our History

Our roots are in forestry mulching, and As we’ve grown and expanded product offerings with whole new solutions, one thing has remained unchanged: Fecon is a company that stands firmly behind its products.

1992

Fecon first started in Evendale, Ohio. The company began as a manufacturing operation to meet the needs of the Organic Resource Recovery Industry in North America.

2004

Fecon moved locations to a new, state-of-the-art 56,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Ohio.

2008

Fecon expanded its manufacturing operations by an additional 55,000 sq. ft.

2011

Fecon launched the flagship FTX600 mulching tractor

2012

In March, Fecon celebrated an impressive 20 years in the industry. As we fondly reflect, our focus is on the future and on what the next 20 years may bring, both for the company and for the industry.

2014

Fecon acquired an additional 40,000 sq. ft. in manufacturing space. This facility is adjacent to Fecon’s existing factory and offers an area for future expansion.

2021

Fecon announced that LFM Capital has sold Fecon to Windjammer Capital Investors. We are excited (and humbled) to embark on this next stage, continuing to provide the best, most durable vegetation management tools and world-class support to our amazing customers.

Today

Today, we have a deep and differentiated product line. At this milestone in our history, Fecon has proudly supplied the industry with over 17,500 mulcher heads—and counting! We also have representatives on every continent.
